This is a flower that I painted in highschool, it is actually the center of a barrel cactus flower. I thought it was pretty when i did it.... Acrillics and that store bought board canvas crap. Enjoy!

I don't quite remember but I think that was the point of the project. High school though, who knows?

The colors are to die for! I always wished that there really were naturally occuring blue roses. And the red trim just makes it jump! I love it!

The cactus flower is called the Rose of the desert for a reason. *grins* I just LOVED it when I lived in AZ and after it rained the desert would be rainbows of colors due to the blooming cactuses....Loverly....

I really like this! The colors and the texture remind me of Georgia O'Keefe. Cept- then you would have bones and skulls and dead things. Anyways- lovely lovely lovely.

I think that was the point of the project but i was in high school and don't remember. I did something with dead things and sculls...I'll have to see if I can find it! :) Glad you like.
